Training: Process Capability and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
The goal of the course is for you to have a solid understanding of statistical methods and to be able to independently carry out capability studies and control your processes using control charts.
This two-day course provides a thorough review of how to perform and evaluate capability studies and control machines and processes optimally in manufacturing.
We look at the underlying statistics and carry out several capability studies. We set up a control chart, calculate control limits, and learn the most common control methods. We review and analyse results and learn key concepts such as Cm, Cp, Cmk, Cpk and MC.
The course also includes practical measurement exercises using callipers and sample parts.
Target audience
The course is suitable for production staff, managers and technicians who have a direct influence on the control of machines and processes.
