Mentor Training

The goal of the course is for you to possess a deeper knowledge and understanding, and to be able to advocate for and contribute to making capability and control charts a central part of operations.

This three-day course provides a thorough review of how to perform and evaluate capability studies and control machines and processes optimally in manufacturing industry. We look at the underlying statistics and techniques, carry out capability studies, set up a control chart, calculate control limits, analyse results and show interesting examples. The course also includes several practical measurement exercises and a section on data analysis.

We discuss implementation strategies, appropriate routines and which machines or processes to start with. The course is aimed at people who will act as mentors and procedure writers, as well as managers who want to gain better insight into the processes they lead.

Target audience

The course is open to everyone and provides an excellent opportunity to meet people from other companies for interesting discussions and exchanges.
